The Youth Mental Health Awareness Conference  seeks to enlighten youth out there on the importance of mental health, causes, signs and possible treatment. Various experts will be there to discuss, educate and share their experiences with you, there will be Q&A sessions. The Mental Health Awareness Conference, themed ‘Ripples Of The Fragile Minds’ subtitle ‘helping to spot the signs’ was held in Bristol by RisingIconsInternational, United Kingdom. This project initiative was geared towards bringing awareness to the unnoticed prevalence and the effects of poor mental well-being among young adults in many communities. It was organised as a forum to engage with young individuals and adults about mental health and its associated stigmas, as well as to drive ‘The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)’.The speakers at the event explored the surrounding factors that affected mental wellbeing among young individuals, one of the main topics, which was directed towards students, entitled (Mental Health And Emotional Wellbeing for Students) offered lasting and effective solutions on ways to improve, cope with challenges and disappointments, as well as how to preserve a healthy mind-set. The President of Rising Icons International Mr. Braimoh Umoru, Keynote Speaker Dr. Dominique Thompson, guest speakers Ms. Adanna Williams and Ms. Saida Bello, enlightened the audience and expounded on information that indeed positively redirected the understanding and mental perspectives of everyone in the audience.
