Braimoh’s pursuit of knowledge knows no bounds. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s in Management, accomplishments that reflect his determination to excel academically. But Braimoh’s thirst for knowledge didn’t stop there. He embarked on a remarkable journey to earn another Bachelor’s degree, this time in Adult Nursing, coupled with a prestigious certification as a Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA).

Braimoh Umoru’s passion for community service and his desire to uplift others led to the birth of Rising Icons International. This youth-focused organization has its footprint across the globe, with offices in the United Kingdom, Nigeria, Uganda, and Kenya. Through Rising Icons International, Braimoh has channelled his vision to encourage, support, and transform the lives of young people facing challenging and hardship environments.

A Word From The Founder
As the founder of Rising Icons International, I have had the opportunity to work with numerous young people from different cultures and backgrounds, and it has been an eye-opening and inspiring experience for me.
As a young teenager, I believed there was a calling upon my life, there was a passion within me to become a catalyst of change and empowerment to other young individuals. I grew up in a poor but humble environment, this environment motivated me towards the determination to improve my life’s circumstances, the direction of my future and by extension, improve and positively impact the lives of as many other individuals as possible.
I saw the future generation of the world suffering, in need of aide and a helping hand, and even though I knew I did not have much to give, I decided to give all that I had.
I refused to turn a blind eye, I refused to sit idly by watching the suffering of others. I decided to provide a safe space, opportunities, pathways and solutions for the lesser privileged. From a genuine passion, grew a vision, courage emerged, purpose was directed and Rising Icons International was birthed. As a result, the lives and futures of many have been positively changed.
At our organization, we develop and provide mentorship programs, leadership training, and community development initiatives to empower young people to become self-sufficient and actively engaged in their communities.
We also provide educational and vocational training programs that equip young people with the skills and resources needed to become entrepreneurs and job creators.
Our goal is to promote sustainable development by addressing issues such as gender equality, poverty alleviation, education, health and wellness.
I strongly believe that young people are the key to unlocking the potential of our communities and can make positive impacts in our society. Through our work at Rising Icons International, we strive to provide the tools, resources, and opportunities necessary for young people to succeed.
